GEO, unlike the DAY model, has a built-in sun visor, so it may seem that GEO will create a bigger shadow. For me, it is not that important. It is more noticable that the roof is bigger and that is why it creates a bigger shadow. For me it is a big advantage that both models offer an additional accessory, the UV sun visor. The UV sun visor covers the whole stroller and your child can sleep while protected from sun, bugs, and enjoys an uninterrupted sleep. In the winter time, you can use this sun visor as a wind deflector. Both roofs are removable using a velcro and made out of see-through screen that will allow you to check on your child while your child is facing forward.
Grading both equally: +1 point
Through position for laying or sitting down is very much appreciated because my two previous models of strollers went completely flat and that was not comfortable for me nor for my child. Greta had a hard time falling asleep and I found it very inconvienient when she finally fell asleep from a complete exhaustion. I decided to google it and I found out that the through position is more ergonomic, it is more snuggly, and it helps support the the little body from all sides.

3 POSITIONS
Both models offer three different sport positions. First positions is sitting upright, second position is called relaxing and your child is positioned half way between laying down and sitting upright. I use this position when I want my child to fall asleep or just sit back and relax. Once my child falls asleep, I change the stroller to the third position where child is almost laying flat. Child can be rear-facing or forward-facing.

FOOT SUPPORT
The big difference between the two models is the ability to adjust the foot support. The DAY model offers three different levels of adjustment and you can always bring it back to its original position fairly easy. GEO model does not offer this option of adjusting the foot support. The foot support is automatically adjusted to its maximum lenght; however, a slight incline of the GEO’s foot support helps child‘s feet rest comfortably. The edge of the DAY’s foot support is finished with a plastic which is practical and easy to clean. GEO’s foot support is made out of durable cloth that is also easy to clean, but I still think that DAY model has it better and easier.

When the adjustable height of the handle is set to its maximum, it works for my 190 cm tall husband. When set to its minimum height, it works great for the sibling that is 118 cm tall.

KIDDY BUGGY BOARD
It fits both models but because of the GEO’s bigger storage basket, it is imposible to flip the board vertically while not being used by the sibling. Thank to this buggy board we were able to enjoy a long walks while on vacation without listening to the sibling’s crying and complaining how tired the she or he was.
Giving DAY + 1 point
THE HANDLE
The handle itself is removable and it opens using just one hand. It applies to both models.

THE SUMMER SEAT
It is only available with the DAY model (rumour has it that it will be available this spring in GEO models) and it is a wonderful thing. The child does not sweat as much as if it would be in the original seat. It still feels comfortable because of its through position and safety buckles. It paid off tremendously to have this summer seat during hot summer days.
Giving DAY +1 point
Ideally, if you go out for food, you don’t have to move it on the dinner chair at all. That means that both models are high enough, so children can sit right beside the table and look at things around them rather than looking at things from below.

THE SHOPPING BASKET
I liked the shopping basket the first time I saw it on the picture. The GEO model has no competition. It is spacious and I would consider this option as the biggest bonus. I no longer have millions of bags hanging from the stroller but store it in the basket. It can handle a really big shopping spree. It is great that you can access the basket even if your baby is laying down. The basket is removable so you can take all your groceries home in the basket. When you have two children with a small age difference, you have the option to make a double stroller by adding the through in place of the storage basket. The DAY’s storage basket is lot smaller. It is big enough for one blanket and some little stuff and that is it. It closes so it seems that is organized and tidy. You have an option to purchase an additional XL storage basket that is made out of screen. You place this XL basket in the back of the stroller. Sometime you have a situation where even the XL storage basket becomes worthless.
Giving GEO + 2 points
FOLDING
GEO won this one because by a push of a button the stroller folds down and is secured by a lock position preventing the opening. With DAY the lock is not there and you need two separate moves to fold the stroller. You also need to be careful so the stroller does not open back up since the lock is not there. You need to fold the bottom of the stroller and the actual stroller itself. I never had to fold it this way. It is practical if the child is rear-facing. My child never liked to be rear-facing.
Giving GEO +1 point
I like the DAY model better since the bag does not have a zipper. It is more practical because when you are stirring the stroller, you can only use one hand to open the bag, so the cloth cover is better. GEO stroller bag has a zipper and I needed to use my both hands to open it. On the other hand, the height of the bag is adjustable which makes the parameter of the bag bigger when more of the zipper is exposed.

THE WHEELS
GEO‘s back wheels are slightly smaller and you can remove them by a push of a button in the middle of the rear axle. It is not as practical as the DAY model. The DAY wheels are quickly removed by a push of a button in the middle of each back wheel. This information might not be as important, but since I have a smaller car, I often need to remove the back wheels to make it fit.
Giving DAY + 1 point
Both models front wheels can be locked while the stroller is parked. The DAY model has a latch, GEO has a button. If you do not want to bend down, you can do it by using your foot. GEO’s wheels are slightly bigger then the DAY’s wheels. We get very little snow where I live so I did not notice any major differences when it comes to wheels.

Both models absorb a lot of bouncing around. Both handled Liptov, hiking, skiing slopes, pebble beach in Croatia and even a broken suramic floor in Sibenik very well.

Final evaluation: 13 points for GEO and 13 points for the DAY model. I find that funny since the goal was to find out which one is better.
Model Joolz is our fourth stroller, and in my honest opinion, Joolz is the best thing that was ever parked in our household. It would not be nice to mention the other models I used to have since every mother’s and baby‘s needs are different. I am glad I got to use both models. I knew what I wanted from the stroller and what options are more or less important to you. I liked the DAY Quadro in the Grigio color and I feel like it was a love at first sight. When the black GEO came on the market, I did not use the DAY for three months. I know you expected me to come up with my final decision, but I simply do not have one. I hope that the individual comparisons help you decide which one to get. At the end I strongly believe that both models are equally good and you will not be disappointed.
All of my articles are available in my blog. You can find the Joolz here.
If you have one of these models, let me know why you decided for that particular model. Send us a message to help solve a dilemma for many undecisive mommies.
